What we see most often
Abuja does not fail like other cities
Most plumbing advice online is written for houses on a continuous pressurised mains supply. Very little of Abuja works that way. In the districts we serve, the normal arrangement is a borehole or tanker fill, a storage tank, and a pump pushing water back into the house, and that changes which parts fail and how.
The practical consequence is that a large share of what people call “a plumbing problem” is really a water delivery problem. Weak flow upstairs is far more often a tired pump, a waterlogged pressure vessel or a part-closed gate valve than a blocked pipe. Replacing pipework to fix it is an expensive way to solve nothing.
Three patterns
What goes wrong in Abuja homes

Pumps sized for the tank, not the house
A pump chosen to fill a tank quickly is often wrong for delivering steady pressure to four bathrooms at 07:00. The symptom is pressure that collapses when a second outlet opens.

Imitation fittings inside finished walls
The pipe is usually fine. The elbows and sockets are where the cheap material goes, and a wall chase is the worst possible place to discover it.

Soakaways that were adequate until they weren’t
Ground that drained freely when the house was built silts up over years. The failure shows up in one heavy rainy-season week, not gradually.
Water escaping right now?
Close your main isolation valve, switch the pump off at the breaker, then call. If you cannot find the valve, call anyway and we will stay on the line while you look.
How it works
Four steps, no surprises on the invoice
The complaint we hear most about other trades is not price, it is a price that changed after the work began. This is how we remove that.
You call, WhatsApp or send the form
Tell us what is happening and whether water is currently escaping. If it is, we talk you through finding your isolation valve before we even discuss booking.
We diagnose before we price
A plumber attends, isolates, tests and identifies the actual cause, not the symptom. On concealed leaks that means pressure-testing the run rather than opening the nearest wall.
You get one fixed price, in writing
Labour, materials and any making-good are itemised. You approve it before a tool comes out of the van. If we find something behind the wall that changes the job, we stop and re-quote.
We complete, test and hand back clean
Every repair is pressure-tested and run under load before we leave. Tiles, chases and paint are made good to the standard you had, and the 12-month guarantee goes on your invoice.
What you are promised
Our commitments, in plain figures
Every number below is a standard we hold ourselves to on each job, not a claim about the past.
The work
What plumbing in Abuja actually looks like
Storage, pressurisation, distribution and disposal. Four systems, one supply chain, and a fault in any of them arrives at your tap looking identical.

Service areas
Where we work, and why the district matters
Building age, plot size and supply arrangement differ sharply between Abuja districts. A plumber who treats Guzape like Maitama will misdiagnose both.
Plumber in Maitama
Older mains, mature landscaping and concealed runs under finished stone.
Maitama plumbingPlumber in Asokoro
Large plots, long service runs and heavy reliance on booster pressure.
Asokoro plumbingPlumber in Wuse
Original FCDA blocks in Zones 1 to 7, shared risers and heavy daytime commercial load.
Wuse plumbingPlumber in Wuse II
Dense mixed-use blocks where one riser fault affects several flats.
Wuse II plumbingPlumber in Garki
The city's oldest planned housing, with original distribution reaching end of life.
Garki plumbingPlumber in Guzape
Newer hillside builds with steep gradients and young, settling ground.
Guzape plumbingThose are six of the twenty-five districts we cover. The rest run from Utako, Wuye, Mabushi, Katampe and Jahi through to Apo, Kaura, Games Village, Lokogoma, Lugbe, Dawaki and Kubwa. See every district we cover.
Why people call us
What you get that you may not be getting now
We would rather tell you how we work than tell you we are reliable. Every trade says that.
We name the test
Ask any plumber what test would confirm their diagnosis. We will tell you: a pressure-decay test on an isolated zone, a dye test in the cistern, a pre-charge reading on the vessel. A plumber who cannot name the test is guessing.
Making good is in the price
In Maitama and Asokoro the stone and tile usually cost more to restore than the plumbing costs to repair. Our quote covers the wall as well as the pipe, so the number you approve is the number you pay.
We tell you when not to hire us
A hair-blocked shower trap does not need a plumber. Neither does a dry trap in a guest bathroom. And if your property is still within its defects liability period, we will document the fault so you can pursue the developer instead of paying us.

Plumbing in Abuja: your questions answered
How quickly can you get to me in Abuja?
For a genuine emergency, a burst pipe, a flooding WC, or a pump that has failed with no stored water, our target is 60 minutes to the inner districts, which covers most of the city. For Lokogoma, Lugbe, Dawaki and Kubwa we do not make that promise; we give you a realistic arrival time when you call and we keep to it. Traffic, not distance, is the real constraint in Abuja, so night calls are often faster than daytime ones. Non-urgent work is normally booked for the next working day.
Do you charge to come out and look?
No. Attending, assessing the fault and giving you a fixed written quote is free. You only pay if you accept the quote and we do the work. What we will not do is start work and discover the price afterwards, that is the single most common complaint we hear about other trades in Abuja.
Do you charge more at night, on Sundays or public holidays?
No out-of-hours premium. The price for a job is the price whatever time you call. We would rather you rang at 2am than watched a ceiling come down waiting for morning.
Which areas of Abuja do you cover?
We cover 25 districts, each with its own page: Maitama, Asokoro, Wuse, Wuse II, Garki, Guzape, Jabi, Utako, Wuye, Mabushi, Katampe, Katampe Extension, Jahi, Kado, Life Camp, Gwarinpa, Kukwaba, Apo, Durumi, Kaura, Games Village, Lokogoma, Lugbe, Dawaki and Kubwa. Outside the FCT we will tell you honestly whether we can help rather than sending someone on a long journey to disappoint you.
Can you work on a property that runs on a borehole and overhead tank?
Most of our work does. The majority of homes we attend run some combination of borehole, storage tank and booster pump rather than relying purely on mains. That system has its own failure pattern, float switches, foot valves, pressure vessels losing their air charge, and it is the part general handymen most often get wrong.
Is there a guarantee on the work?
Yes. Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion, and the terms are printed on your invoice rather than promised verbally. Manufacturer warranty on any parts we supply passes to you in full.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry public liability cover, and we will confirm the position in writing before starting work on request, which is a reasonable thing to ask any trade before they open a wall in your home.
Can I get a price over WhatsApp?
For anything visible, a dripping tap, a running cistern, a heater model number, send a photo and a short video and we will give you a realistic range. For concealed leaks and pump faults, an honest price needs an eye on site; anyone quoting a firm figure sight-unseen is guessing.
Do you supply the materials or should I buy them?
Either. If you buy, we will tell you exactly what grade to ask for, because the difference between a genuine PN20 PPR fitting and a soft imitation is invisible on the shelf and obvious eighteen months later inside a wall. If we supply, the material line is itemised on your quote and you keep the offcuts and packaging.
Do you handle work in occupied apartment blocks?
Yes, and it needs a different approach. In Wuse II and Jabi a single riser serves several flats, so isolating one unit without shutting the whole stack matters. We plan the isolation before we touch anything and tell your facility manager what will be off and for how long.
